02-08-2010: Foray into the realm of Digital Drawing...

Here is my first attempt at sketching on site using the Wacom and my laptop. I am using Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. There are a lot of features, it's just becoming comfortable with the media....but it will come.

Keep checking back...this is easier to upload new work than traditional drawing/scanning.

The Rest of the Pen Stuff

Part 2 of the Pen stuff...

These both were from Caribou Coffee 01-20-2010. Was at the cafe for about 1.5 hours.

Now with Pen!!

I have been working with pencils for a while now, so I decided to break out the felt-tip markers and see what happened. Just gonna keep on pluggin' away.

01-10-2010: Push On...

In the words of Robert Randolph, I am pushing on... I didn't feel it tonight, and was about to go home, but I decided to make the drive and give it a try anyways. Did these two and thought that the composition on the page was interesting. I am told if you don't draw for a day or two, you begin to tell...the rust sets in. So, while I may not feel it everyday, I need to keep pushing myself to do it. If I don't, then why the hell try?

If you want something enough, don't stop...regardless of how lazy you feel or how much you would rather go do something else. If you want it, make it happen. I have some really good friends who support me and have faith in me. It's time to make those who put faith in me proud.

01-07-2010 - A Quick Session

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

A cold Chicago night and a warm Mocha with Dark Chocolate seems to make the world seem a little bit better. On a side note, tonight was a little frustrating, but I am pushing on, regardless of the crap I churn out.

12-21-2009 Shortest Day + Sketching

Monday evening @ Caribou Coffee. The weather sucks and my options for places to draw after work isn't the best, so I will take what I can get, right?

Back in the Saddle Again...

So, I LOVE things which motivate me. 2010 Needs to be a good year...so, without further ado...

It's Alive!!! (Scanner is working Part 2)

Got the scanner working!! (Part 1)

In case you were wondering, I wasn't avoiding the drawing, I just could not find a scanner that worked.
